As a lover of apocryphal stories — and the creator of a few myself — I was prepared to dismiss the e-mail that Linda Spollen Haile sent me after reading my Wednesday column on Harvey B. Wentworth, the New Hampshire soldier supposedly entombed forever in the U.S. Capitol in 1862.
